WooCommerce profit analytics

WooCommerce tells you what you sold.
Not what you kept.

Add a cost to each product, and Gernx works out your real profit and margin after cost of goods, refunds and expenses. By product, by customer, by country. Set costs once, hit recalculate, and the guessing stops.

Troubleshooting

Stuck? Start here.

Most problems come down to data not being backfilled yet. Work through these in order.

Reports show zero or "no data"

Open Profit Dashboard › Overview and click Recalculate all orders. Wait for it to finish and show a count. This is the step that loads your existing orders into the reports. New orders are tracked automatically, but old ones need this once.

After it runs, read the Diagnostics line under the button. It tells you one of three things:

  • The logs table is missing. Clicking Recalculate creates it automatically, so just run it once more.
  • Logged orders: 0. No orders were recorded. Either you have no orders yet, or recalculation has not been run. Run it.
  • Logged orders: a number, plus a date range. Your data is there. If a report still looks empty, the orders fall outside the range you are viewing. Reports go back up to one year, so an order older than that, or older than the tab you picked, will not show. Try the 1 year tab.

Profit looks too high

If profit equals revenue, your products have no cost set. Open your products and fill in the Cost field, then Recalculate. Products without a cost are treated as zero cost, which makes their whole price look like profit.

A product shows "no cost" in Inventory Value

That product is being counted in stock but has no cost entered, so it is left out of the inventory value total. Set its cost on the product page.

The Elementor widgets are not in the panel

Confirm Elementor is active and Gernx is active, then reload the Elementor editor. Elementor caches the widget panel, so try Elementor › Tools › Regenerate CSS & Data. Look for the Gernx Widgets category. Remember the widgets only show figures to logged-in shop managers, so an empty-looking widget on a logged-out preview is normal.

A widget icon is blank

Older Elementor versions are missing some icons. Update Elementor if you can. The widgets work either way, the icon is cosmetic.

"Translation loading triggered too early" notice

This is a WordPress debug notice, not an error, and it only appears with debugging turned on. Keeping the free and Pro plugins updated to matching versions clears it on our side. If it persists, another plugin or your theme is the source.

Still stuck? Note exactly what the Diagnostics line says and what you clicked, then contact support. That one line usually tells us the cause straight away.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

The things people ask before and right after buying.

Does it work with my existing orders?

Yes. New orders are tracked automatically. For older ones, go to Profit Dashboard › Overview and click Recalculate all orders once.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

The free plugin gives you real profit, margin, and product reports on its own. Pro adds Customer, Country, Refund, Expenses, Inventory, and Forecasting, plus CSV export and more Elementor widgets.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. Everything is calculated and stored on your own site. Nothing about your orders leaves your server.

Does it slow down my store?

No. Reports read from a separate log table, so they stay fast even on large stores.

Will it work with my theme and other plugins?

It uses standard WooCommerce data and follows WordPress standards, so it works alongside most themes and plugins. If something conflicts, email hello@gernx.com and we'll take a look.

Can I use one license on more than one site?

A single-site license covers one site. To move it, deactivate on the old site, then activate on the new one. Running several stores? Ask us about volume options.

How do I get updates?

Free updates come through WordPress.org like any plugin. Pro updates appear in your updates screen while your license is active.

What if I get stuck?

Check the Troubleshooting section above, or email hello@gernx.com. We usually reply within one business day.
